About the Role
- Greet patient and be the ambassador of the practice
- Provide a positive first impression and exceptional experience to patients, both in-person and via phone
- Positively influence a culture of teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient
- Respond to patient appointment requests and schedule all appointments in accordance to practice guidelines and schedule templates
- Call to confirm scheduled appointments
- Proactively notify the providers of any changes/anticipated issues with the daily schedule
- Assist patients in completing new patient paperwork and accurately enter all patient information into the dental software
- Collect payments from the patients at or before the time of service
- Calmly and effectively guide patients by phone through any dental emergencies
- Consistently invite patients to share their experience with a Google review and a patient referral
- Complete responsibilities as assigned and participate in daily huddles to ensure that every single day flows smoothly
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
- Support the clinical team and the Office Manager in their efforts
- Be present, engaged, and ready to work at all assigned shift times
Skills
Working knowledge of the following is a plus:
- Dental Practice Management software, EagleSoft preferred
- Dental Intel
- Revenue Well
- Weave
- Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams/Zoom)
- Google Docs
