About the Role
- Manage all aspects of the office setting
- Support the Doctor/Partner in the development and attainment of their professional goals
- Prioritize supported practice opportunities and issues to ensure high-quality patient care, growth, revenue, profitability, and team member needs are addressed
- Be responsible for managing the P&L for the practice
- Manage the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) / AR process
- Ensure that fundamental systems and protocols are in place within the practice
- Coordinate with the management team regarding human resources, marketing, IT, accounting, and other back-office functions, as well as ongoing training and staff development programs
- Lead the team in managing schedules to meet office goals, reduce no-shows, and prevent cancellations
- Monitor daily morning huddles ensuring meeting flow and outcomes
- Identify operational opportunities within your assigned practice
- Motivate and manage team members and make sound business decisions
- Foster a culture which promotes a great patient experience and a cohesive team environment; mitigate any distraction to that effort
- Actively participate in the candidate selection, hiring, on-boarding, review, performance management, and retention processes for all team members
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to your Regional Manager and the management team
- Facilitate / conduct team or departmental meetings
- Comply with all company and regulatory requirements
- Conduct all other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager and/or the Doctor/Partners
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success and the ability to:
- Analyze business reporting turning insights into action
- Execute office-level business plan
- Identify and create recommendations / actions for the attainment of KPI targets
- Manage a budget
- Promote the professional development of supported team members
- Effectively communicate
Working knowledge of the following is a plus, but not required:
- Dental Practice Management software, EagleSoft preferred
- Dental Intel
- Revenue Well
- Weave
- Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams/Zoom)
- Google Docs
